Las navieras Mitsui OSK Lines (MOL) y Kawasaki Kaisha ("K" Line) iniciarán en mayo una nueva línea marítima entre puertos de Asia y de la costa este de Estados Unidos vía el Canal de Suez. Este servicio, bautizado como South China/Vietnam-US East Coast, estará cubierto por nueve buques, capaces de transportar hasta 5.500 TEU, de los que "K" Line aportará siete y MOL, dos.

La ruta se iniciará el 15 de mayo en Shekou y permitirá a las compañías ofrecer enlaces directos de transporte entre Vietnam, el sur de China, Singapur y la costa este de Estados Unidos, con escalas adicionales en Jacksonville y Halifax y con tiempos de tránsito muy competitivos.

MOL and "K" Line launch a line between Asia and the East of United States

The shipping companies Mitsui OSK Lines (MOL) and Kawasaki Kaisha ("K" Line) will start in may a new maritime line between ports of Asia and the East coast of the United States through the Suez Channel. This service named South China/Vietnam-US East Coast, will be covered by nine vessels, capable to transport up to 5.500 TEU, of which "K" Line will provide seven and MOL two.

The route will start on May 15 in Shekou and allow companies to offer direct transport links between Vietnam, the South of China, Singapore and the East coast of the United States, with additional calls in Jacksonville and Halifax and with very competitive transit times.
